DJ Misty is a woman who lives up to her name. Voted Runner Up in Toronto's NOW Magazine's 2015 and 2014 Reader's Choice Awards for best DJ, she's spent the last decade selecting the best in Rock n' Roll, Soul, Vintage R&B, Punk, Alt. Rock and everything in between at bars, clubs and across the airwaves in Toronto.
She's lit up the dance floors and bar stools at The Bovine Sex Club, Tattoo Rock Parlour, The Phoenix Concert Theatre, Velvet Underground, Sneaky Dee's, The Piston, Stone's Place, and The Mod Club among others with her inimitable taste and style. Her monthly night at the legendary Queenshead was deemed Toronto's best Friday night party (Toronto Life Magazine 'Best of', 2006) and she DJ'ed for thousands at 2009's Calvalcade of Lights presented by Scotiabank in Toronto. Misty made even more noise in 2009 when she DJ'ed 'Radio Clash', Lee's Palace's live to air club night on Edge 102.1 FM alongside host Josie Dye. She could also be heard turning it up to 11 every week on CKLN. 88.1 FM's 'The Demon's Lair' alongside The Blue Demon for five awesome years.
She has since been a top choice for corporate events, festivals, and private events like weddings, anniversaries and birthdays.
Before DJ Misty moved to Japan she was DJ'ing once a month at Handlebar, TILT Arcade Bar, and GOOD TIMES at Swan Dive. She's currently a resident DJ of Toronto, Canada, Osaka, Japan and London, England's sister parties, THE BEAT.
